La Contessa non si limitò a farsi ritrarre, ma mise in scena molteplici versioni di sé – aristocratica, attrice, icona mondana, figura enigmatica – contribuendo a ridefinire il rapporto tra individuo, immagine e pubblico nella cultura visiva dell’Ottocento.
