Since 1980, the Museum has managed the University of Turin’s historical collections from Zoology &amp; Comparative Anatomy, Mineralogy &amp; Petrography, as well as Geology &amp; Palaeontology, thanks to an ad hoc agreement between the University of Turin and the Region Piedmont. The Regional law establishing the Museum clearly states its aims: ‘to promote the development of scientific knowledge by stimulating the community’s interest in natural science, especially among young people, [&#8230;], to make available a centre able to preserve, use and appreciate the collections owned by the University of Turin to experts, scholars and the people of Piedmont [&#8230;], and to provide for the updating and development of the collections’.\u003C\u002Fp>\n","\u003Cp>Il MRSN è stato impegnato negli anni in numerosi progetti di ricerca, anche internazionali, finalizzati alla conoscenza e salvaguardia del patrimonio naturale e ha all’attivo lo svolgimento di una capillare attività didattico-divulgativa.
